5 Trees/Month – CO2 750 KG

£15.00 / month

Plant 5 trees/month in Madagascar, Nepal, Kenya, Haiti and Mozambique and offset 750 Kg of CO2/month.

The project involves the planting 5 trees per month, chosen among all our projects. Funds will be divided between our projects in Madagascar, Nepal, Kenya, Haiti and Mozambique. You can read the details of each project on our “Trees List” page.

The project aims at protecting and restoring forests on a massive scale by involving local farmers and creating livelihoods for people living in extreme poverty by offering them the dignity of employment and the possibility to become transformational agents of global forest restoration. The plantation, the provision of material resources and labour force, the care and growth of the plants, will be carried out by our planting partner Eden Projects –  nonprofit organization that works in developing countries to rebuild natural landscapes destroyed by deforestation. For these projects, we work directly with villages and communities suffering from extreme poverty resulting from the deforestation and destruction of the land that sustains them.

Trees covers to prevent biological disease and for pest control . More plants increase biodiversity , less soil degradation , more fertile soil , increase in water retention capacity of soil , more nutrients in food produced from soil , less consumption of water required for irrigation purpose , river basins maintained and many more benefits of such green planting projects .
